YouTube™ Crazy.
I’ll admit, I went a little YouTube™ Crazy over the past few weeks; I know I keep flip-flopping over whether this is a good idea or not, but earlier in the year, out of the blue, I started getting messages from folks who had heard something for the first time via YT & wanted to know more. I felt this was reason enough to get the auto-video-generator apparatus out of the closet & get it all back up & running again. Chalk it up to seasonal affective disorder/ennui.
There are new Playlists for new initiatives: the first wave of “Resonators” fit beautifully on there, arguably the best home for the set conceptually & contextually (you can also stream the “Resonators Mix” I did for the Kranky NTS show on-demand from the archives, which, bizarrely, was made “Mix Of The Day” on Resident Advisor - plus, due to overwhelming demand, and very likely on a temporary basis, the whole 20-song set is now up on Bandcamp as a neat, tidy album for offline/full-res listening should you desire to go that route).
There are also playlists dedicated to a couple of landmarks & anniversaries that felt worth commemorating: the 17th of the forging of the “Greatest Hits” (finally updated on Soundcloud & for sale on Bandcamp at a cut-rate as well, should you need them un/compressed and/or offline) and of course the 15th of the inception of Creel Pone (no Bandcamp for obvious reasons; just be happy that I had the time to render 200+ videos of the entire damn catalog so that you can finally stream them on your TV/Watch).
In addition, I’m slowly porting everything that was up at the old Vimeo account to YouTube™, including the Experimental Films, assorted Projects, Remixes, and plenty more there in time as older hard-drives get newly mounted & archived.
