Other than the family-style Alpha State session (echo’ed below; click through to The Lot to hear Helen’s hourlong blend of music around the concepts of “Work” & Craig’s deep, deep playlist of Peter Gabriel B-Sides & Remixes) that kicked off a wonderful birthday week, I took off last month to recuperate (sleep, mostly) & rebuild after a steady, rewarding stretch of activity thus far this year. We’re already at the cusp of June, and a bunch of tantalizing things are on the books, including the all-day Going In celebration at Pioneer Works on the 6th (at which I have the honor of playing the opening performance-slot at 1PM, kicking off an astrally-studded day of music) followed by Alpha State #18 on the 15th (w/ special guest JR Bohnanon) & a Quad show as part of the Point Source series at a new venue on the East-Williamsburg/Bushwick nexus called SUPR_OMEN (ticket & general info will post here shortly).
