It has snowed again here in NYC; even moreso than the last storm a few weeks back (or the one before that, before the holidays) & the alien landscape coupled with a lack of compelling reasons to leave the house have led to one of the more productive phases in recent times.

The piece above (published to Bandcamp today) presents an unexpurgated real-time render out of the Hybrid Digital-Analogue setup (CE, see below) that so perfectly captured the bizarrely gorgeous environment slowly unfolding a few feet away as this music was wrest from the current configuration (now featuring twin 4-channel O_c lanes fed into a couple of quad-voice oscillators being quantized both in, and outside of scale in an exploded-view sort of way) that I was compelled to share it while everyone was still locked-in.

Yes, it gets a bit crispy at times (esp. towards the end); as the old, old saying goes: “In this world, nothing is certain except taxes & the inability to artfully fix overmodulation in a stereo recording after the fact” so I’ve left it all in (honestly that sound when the Vector Wave goes below its own CV-controllable note-floor is something I’ve grown to love & has led to an open embrace of other audible anomalies) in something of a “Warts & All” gesture. Enjoy!
