I was asked by The Wire's Deputy Editor Derek Walmsley to write a short piece on the passing of both Don Buchla & Pauline Oliveros; two incredible lives lived to their fullest, linked by their time spent in the greater San Francisco area in the 1960s, both very near & dear to both my heart & my outlook on life, the world, and music.

It was an honor to be able to put my feelings towards these two indelible figures into words, and it's somewhat incredible that, just over a week later you can find the piece in print in the January 2017 "Rewind 2016" issue of The Wire at newsstands globally, indexed over at The Wire's site:
