Creel Pone #5 • Montez Press Radio
I’ve vastly enjoyed co-organizing & co-hosting this series of bi-monthly 2-hour specials dedicated to the world(s) of “Unheralded” Early Electronic Music as replicated/documented via Creel Pone over the past ~2 decades; endless gratitude to Tom, Stacy, & everyone at Montez Press Radio for alotting the time & resources for us to speak in a fairly unexpurgated, familial way around this music & its adjacencies, all of which we hold so near & dear.
Jacob & I have really hit our stride; this one will cover a bunch of ground in the usual back & forth style, and make sure to stick around for C. Spencer Yeh & Alec Sturgis’ “The American Anthology of Flat Music” following directly afterwards.
Update: great show, borders on comedy in places while delving perhaps too deep into “Inside Baseball” concepts while doting on Beverly De Fries D’Albert, Robert Aaron, The Canadian See+Hear label, Glenn Williams, Artificial Horizons, Steve Dunstan, Hero Wouters, Artur Petronio & Godfried Willem-Raes on Igloo, & Georges Boeuf & Luc Bertolina’s GMEM output.
